The Inner Wheel Club of Dimapur marked its 12th installation ceremony, titled “Jaagriti” on July 7 at the Rotary Centre, Dimapur. The event was attended by members and dignitaries, including district chairman Pinki Agarwal, who received a floral welcome from the club.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing wisdom and new beginnings. Outgoing president Shobha Jain delivered a warm welcome address, while secretary Vinita Jain presented the annual report highlighting the club’s accomplishments and impact over the past year.
A significant moment during the program was the release of the Club Bulletin, unveiled jointly by the chief guest and the club president, capturing the spirit and activities of the organization.
The event featured the presentation of District Awards by president Jain and Member Awards by the outgoing president, recognizing the dedication and service of club members.
The formal installation of the new president, Anita Sethi, included the collaring ceremony and charter handover, marking a smooth leadership transition. The new executive board was also officially installed.
In her acceptance speech, president Sethi outlined her vision and goals for the coming year, emphasizing collective action and community service. District chairman Agarwal, in her keynote address, commended the club’s initiatives and encouraged members to maintain their momentum.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by secretary Meena Sethi, followed by the National Anthem, dinner, and a photo session. The evening was anchored by Nidhi Modi, who served as master of ceremonies.
