AHIBI FEST 2025 SETS NEW BENCHMARK FOR LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN NAGALAND

International R&B star Iyaz headlined the debut edition of Ahibi Fest 2025 at the Agri Expo grounds in Dimapur on Friday evening, delivering a high-energy performance that drew thousands and signalled a new milestone for Nagaland’s live entertainment scene.
The one-day mega event, organised by Ahibi, a homegrown event management platform blended global star power with homegrown talent, drawing music enthusiasts and cultural audiences from across the region.
Iyaz, famed for his global hit “Replay,” captivated the crowd with an electrifying set that had fans singing along, waving phone lights and dancing to every beat.
Sharing the stage with the international act was a strong lineup of regional and local performers including: Sono Lem & 790001 (Arunachal Pradesh), Lenen Jamir, Hentok Konyak, Keneisenuo Sorhie, Moko Koza, Kivika Assumi, DJ Lil Bomb, Sunep Lemtur and Aseno Metha.
Their performances, rooted in local identity with a contemporary edge, drew roars of appreciation from a diverse audience.
The festival grounds also buzzed with activity beyond the main stage, dozens of stalls showcased local cuisine, beverages, crafts and entrepreneurial ventures. Ahibi Fest additionally incorporated internship and job opportunity components aimed at youth empowerment.
With its seamless production, massive turnout and international-standard programming, Ahibi Fest 2025 has set a new benchmark for large-scale entertainment events in Nagaland. As the music faded into the night, the message was clear: a bold new stage has been set for the Northeast’s cultural and music landscape.
