Jacob inaugurates Sodzülhou village gate

Minister for Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Jacob Zhimomi inaugurated Sodzülhou village gate, here, on Monday.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the minister in his speech congratulated the village and urged upon them to unite and work together for the welfare of the village.
The minister stated that the relationship between Chakhesangs and Sümis traced back to history and that as one family, he said the two communities need to support each other.
Zhimomi also encouraged all everyone to work together for progress be it in religious, social or economic field.
On the ongoing Indo-Naga political peace talks, he called on all the stakeholders to extend their support and cooperation.
The minister also said that resolution might take place by the end of this year, for which it was unclear whether elections would be held or not. “Let’s just hope that whatever decision be it, will be for the betterment of the society and that we the Nagas will find solution at the earliest” the minister added.
The programme was chaired by Sodzülhou village chairman Mezhülhou Koza and dedicatory prayer was proposed by pastor Sodzülhou CRC, reverend Sevie Koza.
Later, vote of thanks were proposed by head GB of Sodzülhou village, Alhou Ngone.
