Jacob inaugurates Thahekhu vill gate

State PHE minister Jacob Zhimomi on Saturday inaugurated the Thahekhu village gate block-7, donated by him, here on Saturday. 

Addressing at the inaugural programme as chief guest, Jacob hoped that inauguration of the village gate would usher in peace and harmony among the people. 

The minister termed the construction of the gate as a pride and privilege for the village and hoped that it will serve as a connection of relationship, bonding, sharing of love, peace and unity amongst the society.

Speaking on the sidelines of the programme, Akai Awomi (teacher), who had designed the gate with the help of the Thahekhu Village Council (TVC) senior advisors, said that the gate expenses was donated by the PHE minister, Jacob Zhimomi.

According to Akai, the construction of the gate started on June 16, 2021.

Meanwhile, the inaugural programme of the village gate was chaired by Thahekhu Village Council legal advisor, A Nikato Wotsa while invocation prayer was proposed by Thahekhu Village Baptist Church, block-7 fellowship associate pastor Jetovi Chishi.

A brief report of the newly constructed gate was presented by Thahekhu Village Council advisor, K Kakheho Yepthomi. 

The vote of thanks was delivered by Thahekhu village head GB Hukiye T Yepthomi and benediction was proposed by TVBC associate pastor Bokato Sema.
