Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Phek observed “Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Diwas” from December 23 to 29 at KVK conference hall.
On the occasion programme coordinator, KVK Phek Dr. R. K. Singh briefed about Jai Kisan Jai Vigyan Diwas. He also emphasized on the importance of farmers, farming community and the soldiers who bring pride to the nation and further explained the scientific farming methods and allied activities.
Altogether 132 farmers from different villages attended the programme. Awareness programme on mechanized farming was also organized in Gidemi and Porba village.
Farmer scientist interaction was also conducted along with the villagers of Thipuzu village where various problems regarding crop and livestock production were discussed.
