DIMAPUR: A Jan Sunwai (Public Grievance and Entitlement Camp) under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), covering nine villages under Jakhama Sub‑Division and EAC Kezhocha, was held at the Kigwema Village Council Hall on August 14. The programme was chaired by SDO (C) Jakhama, Vineikho Tetso.
Addressing the gathering, Tetso said the camp provided a platform for villagers to raise public grievances and seek information and assistance regarding various government welfare schemes and entitlements.
He added that the Jan Sunwai aimed to facilitate effective delivery of government schemes and ensure that eligible beneficiaries have access to entitlements.
Officials from concerned departments briefed the gathering on various schemes and interacted with the public.
Members of Adi Sewa Kendra from DAJGUA‑covered villages also participated in the camp.
