‘Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026’ held at Wokha

DIMAPUR: Nagaland Rural Bank (NRB), Wokha Branch, in association with the National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) and supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, government of India, organised the ‘Janjatiya Garima Utsav 2026’ at Liju Federation Hall, Wokha, on May 30.
As part of the programme, a Financial Literacy Camp was conducted where Branch Manager Imlikala delivered a presentation highlighting the importance of saving, banking services, loans, and government social security schemes. The session also featured interactive discussions and success stories shared by SHG members.
The Liju Federation under Wokhuro Block actively participated in the event, while officials raised awareness on financial schemes and banking services aimed at empowering tribal communities.
