Joint Council Forum of Ward-5 Dimapur has requested Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) to demolish the old culvert and construct a new culvert at Walford area to facilitate smooth passage of garbage and improve overall well-being of society.
In press note, chairman of Namgalong Colony Council, East Policy Colony Council, Bank Colony Council and Dr. Haralu Colony said construction of new culvert would enhance the functionality and longevity of the drainage system.
They expressed gratitude to DMC for cleaning the drainage for five consecutive from the culvert near Nagarjan Traffic Police point till the Culvert, Walford Road covering four colonies. It said the initiative had significantly contributed in the lives and ensured the well-being of the residents.
