JD (U) appoints Senchumo Lotha as national secretary

Janta Dal – United has announced the appointment of Senchumo Lotha as national secretary of the party in recognition of his valuable contribution to the party.
According to JD (U) general secretary Afaque Ahmad Khan, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar and party’s national president and Lok Sabha member Rajiv Ranjan Singh were very happy with the “stunning achievement” of the party in the just-concluded Manipur Assembly election under the “dynamic” chairmanship of Lotha. He said all existing responsibilities entrusted upon him by the party prior to the new appointment would continue.
Khan also wished Lotha all success in his endeavour to further expand JD (U) in different parts of the North-eastern States.
