Janata Dal (United) Nagaland unit led by president Senchumo NSN Lotha attended the National Council Meeting held in Patna, Bihar on December 11 and 12. A press release by the JD (U) Nagaland Unit, general secretary, Imsumongba Pongen stated that the team at the meeting also met National president of JD (U) and Bihar chief minister, Nitish Kumar. The JD (U) state unit also congratulated Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh on being elected as National president for second time with unopposed. Meanwhile, JD (U) Nagaland Unit has elected a new team of office bearers.
The new team is headed by Senchumo NSN Lotha as president, Hatpha Wangnao as vice president, Kitoho S Rotokha and Imsumongba Pongen as vice presidents along with six executive members.
