JFCE organises common platform for 7th Peren A/C

Churches of Peren district under the aegis of the Joint Forum for Clean Election (JFCE) organized a common platform for the candidates of 7th Peren Assembly Constituency (AC) to the 13th Legislative Assembly General Election on February 19 at Government Higher Secondary School ground Jalukie.
According to DPRO, both the candidates TR Zeliang from NPF and Iherie Ndang from NDPP took turn to address the mammoth gathering. They voiced out concerns ranging from sustainable livelihood of a common man to infrastructures development of the district. Meanwhile, organizers also put forth certain questions to which both the candidates answered satisfactorily.
The programme was chaired by Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church pastor, Mongzeung Mpom, while Executive Secretary ZBCC, Izieteilung Terieng read out a passage from the Bible and presented a brief speech to the crowd. The organizers also blessed the candidates with prayer.
