Joint investigation team from Ministry of Agriculture has been carrying out inspections and visited mushroom unit and nurseries at state horticulture nursery, Dimapur district and proceeded to Bade village under RKVY project.
The joint team with representatives from ICAR Jharnapani, CIH Midzephema, officials from horticulture department and Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) is headed by additional commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture, Dr. RPS Deswal.
The team visited bamboo projects at Phusito village and Jalukie B, pineapple at Mhainamtsi, Mango, litchi and pack house at New Peren, cashewnut and water harvesting structure at Heningkunglwa, Peren district, Molvom pineapple project with polythene mulching under Dimapur district.
The team investigated the projects of kiwi, large cardamom, vegetables, apple and model flori centre at Phek district. The team also carried out interactive session with the farmers for ground reality check.
