The Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Implementation Support Agency (ISA), Alongphi Welfare Society and PHED Tuensang Division organized an awareness drive under Shamator district covering 13 villages under Shamator block and Chessore block on January 30 and 31.
According toa DIPR report, during the drive, ISA team highlighted on the importance of Jal Jeevan Mission and community participation in the mission.
WATSAN committee gave a hands-on training and field-testing kits to WQMS team. During the programme, accounting and book keeping, water conservation, grey water management, source sustainability and many other scheduled topics were discussed.
Meanwhile, the WATSAN members and other stakeholders actively participated and as part of the programme where the Implementation Support Agency experts conducted training on awareness and IEC activities.
