Job fair for National Career Services Center for SC/ST Kohima, with the district employment exchange from Dimapur and National Career Service Centre for differently abled-Dimapur was jointly organised on June 22 at Purana Bazaar.
According to a DIPR report, the primary objective of the job fair was for facilitating employment opportunities for unemployed youths of the state.
The organizations who participated in selecting the job seekers were Emporium Skills Training Institute – Aviation & Hospitality; Talent Acquaintance – Service – 150 Vacancies; Nagaland Total Room & Training Centre (NTTC) – Manufacturing – 1000 Nos; Gogives Recruitment Agency – Hospitality -15 Nos Vacancies; and SBI life-Banking – Advisor/Development – Advisor 50 Nos & Manager – 4 Nos Vacancies.
The job fair aims to bring employers and job seekers together on a common platform to promote job opportunities with a specific focus on individuals from the SC/ST candidates along with other job seekers, and also Differently Abled Persons of Nagaland.
Organizers also created equal opportunities for all people who attended the Job Fair by providing a unique chance for individuals to explore potential career paths and secure gainful employment.
It may be mentioned that National Career Service Centre for SC/ST Kohima, District Employment Exchange Dimapur and National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled-Dimapur, are committed to fostering an inclusive workforce by promoting equal opportunities for all through this Job Fair.
The aim was to contribute to the empowerment and economic independence of individuals, irrespective of their background or ability.
Around 233 jobseekers participated during the job fair till the time of filing this report.
