Job reservation: CCoRoRP tables working group’s report

Core Committee on Rationalisation of Reservation Policy (CCoRoRP) tabled the report of the 15- member working group for review to the committee members that include– apex tribal and student bodies.

The meeting was held at the secretariat conference hall on Friday, chaired by planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs minister Neiba Kronu in the absence of deputy CM, Y Patton, who heads the cabinet sub-committee on reservation policy.

Speaking to Nagaland Post, Kronu said the meeting was attended by all members, some virtually.

He, however, remarked that the report on Rationalisation of Reservation Policy was not an issue to be discussed over virtually and therefore urged the committee members to attend the next meeting in person.

He said the report was shared with those who were present at the meeting, adding that the next meeting would be held within a month.
