JPYO, JSUN seek action on NH-129A works

DIMAPUR

Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) and Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) held an emergency meeting with AM Infra Company—contractor for NH-129A, Package-II—on Saturday over delay and poor quality in road construction.
According to JPYO media cell, at the meeting, the company gave a written assurance to both organisations, to complete the work as per the DPR and without compromising on quality. It also assured that it will address public hardships, especially in populated zones and road junctions affected by drainage works.
JPYO and JSUN cautioned that failure to meet the assurance would lead to appropriate action by the organisations.
