JSU organises freshers’ day, workshop

Jakhama Students’ Union (JSU) organised a freshers’ day and workshop on career guidance for the successful students of the recently declared HSLC and HSSLC on June 4.
The event was graced by advisor for Technical Education and Elections, MedoYhokha as special guest.
Resource persons for the workshop on career guidance, skill development and entrepreneurship were deputy director, employment, skill development and entrepreneurship, Er H Alongse Sangtam, chief conservator of forest, Supongnukshi, IFS and ADC, Tuli, ShayingSheu.
The freshers were felicitated in the afternoon session wherein JSU advisor, Vishüthazo Kirha, shared the congratulatory message while former president, Teisozhavi Tetso, gave a motivational speech to the students present.
The programme was attended by the passed out students from HSLC and HSSLC, the student members from Jakhama Students’ Union, Jakhama Youth society, Village Development Board Jakhama, Jakhama Women Society, Principal, Loyola Higher Secondary School and well wishers.
