Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo (KABA) held a free health clinic at Panchayat G.M.S New Ministers’ Hill, Kohima on August 24. This marked the first such initiative in the colony providing free and essential medical services to different patients.
The health clinic was led by Dr. Imotemsu and Dr. Achila Lanu, featuring seven departments namely gynaecology, ophthalmology, surgery, medicine, family medicine, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), and dental.
A press release from KABA informed that eight doctors, including Dr. Anu (a distinguished Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist from Chennai), five nurses, two technicians, and non-medical managerial staff, participated in the camp. A total of 131 patients (76 female and 55 male) were treated in the health camp.
