Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences hold 31st convocation

Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences (Deemed to be University), celebrated its 31st Convocation Ceremony on July 12, 2025
The ceremony was graced by the chief minister of Mizoram, Lalduhoma, as the chief guest and was conferred with the Degree of Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) in recognition of his exemplary public service and visionary leadership.
In his convocation address, Lalduhoma praised Karunya as a model of faith-driven education and technological progress, urging graduates to let purpose guide their lives and to act as agents of positive change.
The Chancellor, Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, in his inspiring address, emphasized the university’s commitment to driving technological innovation and societal transformation through value-based education. He encouraged graduates to become ethical leaders and change-makers, blending excellence in their professions with compassion for the world around them. He also presided over the awarding of degrees, medals, and special honours.
