State external assessment of Kayakalp 2019-20 for Wokha district was conducted from February 27 to February 28, led Dr. Atsungla, joint director Health and Family Welfare department.
A press release from CMO office Wokha stated that, team visited Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha where monitoring and assessment of the health facility was carried out. Team interacted with chief medical officer Wokha, medical superintendent and medical officers.
Meetings with staff of Sanis and Bhandari community health centres (CHC) were held, wherein Dr. Atsungla stressed on the importance of teamwork and efficiency. The team later conducted assessment in both the CHCs. Kayakalp is a clean hospital initiative by ministry of Health and Family, India to promote cleanliness, hygiene and infection control practices in public health care facilities.
