Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjüm (KBBB) held installation service for its new Executive Secretary, at Mission Centre, Mon on January 30.
A press release from KBBB, stated that Rev. L Metjen was inducted as the 11th Executive Secretary of KBBB, with the induction led by vice president KBBB Ngeangtup, Rev. S. Yoko, and consecrated to the office by all the ordained ministers present.
Hailing from Tanhai village, Rev Metjen was ordained in 2006, and initially joined as youth secretary in 1996 and held various positions, as Finance Secretary and Church & Evangelism Secretary. In his acceptance speech, Rev Metjen expressed his thankfulness to God for the new assignment, accepting the honor with humility, and assured to give his best, while seeking cooperation and prayer support.
He also conveyed his sincere gratitude to the outgoing Executive Secretary, Rev. M Chemyuh, for his leadership.
Meanwhile, Rev. M Chemyuh, the outgoing Executive Secretary, accepting the new responsibility as the Church & Evangelism secretary, praised God for his successful tenure as KBB Executive Secretary, from 2009 to 2023.
