Koio Baptist Church (KBC) in Wokha district is set to celebrate its 75 years (Senthan) Jubilee with the theme ‘The Truth Will Set You Free – John 8: 32’ on January 19-20, 2019.
The 2-day celebration will be held at the jubilee pandal constructed at Koio village football ground with Lotha Baptist Churches’ Association (LBCA) executive secretary Rev. Nyanchumo Lotha, LBCA president Rev. Dr. L. Tsanso, and former ETC Jorhat principal Rev. Dr. Ezamo Murry as theme speakers.
Nagaland deputy chief minister Yanthungo Patton will also deliver jubilee greetings at the main jubilee celebration.
LBCA executive secretary Rev. Nyanchumo Lotha will dedicate the jubilee monolith, LBCA mission and evangelism secretary Rev. L.L. Kikon will dedicate the jubilee pandal hall, Tsungiki Baptist Church pastor Rev. R. Lotha will offer a special prayer of blessings for Koio villagers, Longsa Baptist Church pastor Rev. L.K. Tsanglao will offer a prayer in commemoration of those villagers who have passed away, Wokha Town Baptist Cuhrch pastor Rev. S. Thungrio Khuvung will offer a special prayer of blessings for daughters of Koio who have married outside, and Okotso Baptist Church pastor Rev. O. Yipomo Ngullie will conduct the dedication service.
Meanwhile, the KBC 75 Years Jubilee Organizing Committee has requested all to kindly remember the village in their prayers as they celebrate 75 years of Christianity in Koio village.
