KCCI directs on waste dumping

Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has directed its members, trading communities and the general public, especially those residing in close vicinity along the highway and designated waste collection points to strictly adhere to the order issued by the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) on throwing of wastes in the capital city.

In a press release, KCCI president Medozhatuo Rutsa has informed that the timings fixed for disposal of waste in the morning before 6 a.m. and after 6 p.m. in the evening should be strictly followed and properly managed by all.

Further, KCCI warned that failure on compliance would impose penalties, regardless of traders and the general public.
