The Kohima District Athletic Association (KDAA) has announced that it will celebrate “Kids Athletic Day” under the global theme “World Mile Challenge” on May 7, at Secretariat Junction, Kohima. The programme will begin at 6:00 AM.
The event is aimed at promoting fitness, sportsmanship and early athletic development among children. Competitions will be held across three age categories — under 8 years, under 10 years and under 12 years. Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners in each category, while merit and participation certificates will be presented to all eligible participants. A nominal registration fee of Rs. 100 per participant has been set, with both government and private schools encouraged to register their students.
