Kohima District Truck Owner’s and Drivers’ Union (KDTODU), has extended strong support to the decision of Sand Stockists and Suppliers Union Dimapur (SSSUD) on non-payment of tax to the department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change and the department of Geology and Mining. A press release from KDTODU president, Megobizo Kuotsu and general secretary, Kevethi Puro also reiterated its request to the state government to clarify the jurisdiction of the two departments claiming royalty.
