Minister, power and parliamentary affairs and chairman DPDB Phek, K.G Kenye asked the contractors/companies of National Highway in Phek district to complete the construction roads during this dry season. According to a DIPR report, he was speaking at the Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting on January 17 at the DPDB Phek Hall.
Kenye emphasised on the three existing National Highway roads under Phek district adding that the district was one of the most fortunate districts in the state. He also informed the members about the prospective developmental projects in the district.
Advisor, taxes & CAWD, Kudecho Khamo urged upon the officers to be devoted for far more progress of the district so as to fulfill the assurance of Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio on 50 years celebration of Phek district.
Agendas for registration of societies were discussed and forwarded to the government for approval. DSCO, Peleneilhou Patrick, presented power point presentation by highlighting activities and functions of the department of soil and water conservation in the district.
