Kenye declared elected RS MP

Naga People’s Front (NPF) candidate for Rajya Sabha seat K.G.Kenye has been declared duly elected unopposed to fill up the vacancy in the Rajya Sabha for Nagaland. In a press release, returning officer N.Benjamin Newmai stated that there was only one candidate till the last date for filing up of nomination paper and accordingly no poll was conducted.
