Advisor I&PR and Village Guards (VG), S. Keoshu Yimkhiung on Tuesday inaugurated Thiyang Village under Chessore Sub-division, Shamator district as special guest.
According to a DIPR report, Keoshu unveiled the monolith and congratulated the villagers on the achievement. He also urged them to remain united, understand and cooperate with each other for further growth of the village.
The guest of honour, DIG, 7 Sector Assam Rifles, Vikram Singh also unveiled the public ground monolith.
The programme was chaired by mission secretary YBBA, Rev. Thrunkiumong; welcome address by B. John, special Song from Y. Anner Village Students Union; short speeches by the guest of honour and others; special song by R. Neoji Kips, vote of thanks by 2nd Hd. GB Thiyang Village, K. Yinsoba and benediction by Pastor Chessore Village Baptist Church, Doki Allen.
