The Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival 2026 is set to feature global music stars with American R&B sensation Khalid, hip-hop icon Swae Lee and pop-punk favourites Boys Like Girls headlining the event.
The festival, scheduled for November 20 and 21 will also announce two more headliners in the coming months.
Tickets will officially go on sale on September 4 at 6:00 PM via RockskiTickets.com. Seven-time Grammy-nominated Khalid, known for chart-topping hits like Young Dumb & Broke, will lead the line-up, while multi-platinum artist Swae Lee, famed for his worldwide No. 1 hit Sunflower with Post Malone, will bring hip-hop energy to the stage.
Adding a nostalgic pop-punk flavour, Boys Like Girls will perform their iconic 2000s hits including The Great Escape, Thunder, and Love Drunk.
This year’s festival marks a new chapter as it shifts to its permanent venue at the New Shillong Highland Grounds, a dedicated festival site allocated by the Meghalaya government.
Officials said the venue is envisioned as a permanent destination for large-scale concerts and cultural events, with the Cherry Blossom Festival among its first major showcases. Organisers have promised another grand celebration of music, culture and entertainment, positioning Meghalaya as a growing hub for international festivals.
