Mansoureh Khojasteh, the wife of Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died after sustaining injuries in recent strikes, according to Iranian state media.
Iranian state outlets said Khojasteh had been injured in the same wave of strikes and later succumbed to her wounds. According to Iran’s state media, Press TV, she had “attained martyrdom” following the attack. Khojasteh was 78. They married in 1964.
