Khango-led NSCN/GPRN demands accountability on MSME scheme

NSCN/GPRN (Khango-Hokato Vusshe) has asked Aolemba Longkumer and the stakeholders involved in the implementation of the MSE-CDP scheme under the Ministry of MSME, to answer to the Naga people regarding the implementation of the scheme.
In a press release issued through its MIP, the group also asked Aolemba to “justify the time duration” of the proposed scheme which was allotted to him from the issuance of the work order, and why was it still incomplete. It also directed Aolemba to furnish cash voucher/invoice of purchased machineries. The MIP maintained that Aolemba through print media “promptly ignored his involvement in this money hush scheme” and did not answer why he personally signed on sanctioned amount received slip if he was not involved in the project/scheme.
Further, it asked the concerned department to furnish details of both civil works and technical machineries officially.
The group re-affirmed its previous statement that it would strictly monitor those people involved particularly in the scheme. It also sought to send “message to all the contractors and suppliers” to implement the work as per the DPR/work order issued by the department.
MIP affirmed that it would leave no stone unturned if the concerned individual and the department failed to furnish the details of the scheme. It cautioned the “said individual” not to fool Naga public by “applying a remorseful lie to eject away from his misdeeds.”
The group said it was “fully vigilant” to take stringent action upon the incumbent if the above mentioned details were not fulfilled.
