The Tsaru Students’ Union (TSU) observed its 75th jubilee on Tuesday with advisor for tourism, art and culture, H Khehovi as special guest.
A press release from the advisor’s media cell informed that Khehovi in his speech said that Tsaru was one of the best villages with God-gifted climate, fertile land and an ideal location for a rapidly growing village.
Urging upon the people of Tsaru to continue counting their blessings, the advisor also questioned as to what they would give back to the very village that had brought them this far.
Khehovi while encouraging the students said that all human beings were born equal but success depended on how an individual utilised his/her best innate capabilities.
Stating that winners were not born differently but did things differently he exhorted the student community that the fear of the Lord was the best weapon of knowledge and success.
Earlier the advisor also inaugurated the village guest house constructed by his father-in-law, Tinglise Sangtam.
He was accompanied by PS H. Akato Sema, state BJP general secretary Khevishe Achumi, ANTA Dimapur president Tohozhe Awomi, tourism department, Hutoka EE and PA Mughaka Achumi.
