Parliamentary secretary IPR, Khekaho Assumi attended the monthly meeting of head of offices at Akuluto on Tuesday.
According to DIPR, during the meeting presided by SDO (C) Kikumsangla Jamir, various issues with regard to shortage of police personnel at Akuluto town, irregularity of government employees especially heads of offices were deliberated.
The need for sub-treasury office at Akuluto was also discussed.
Khekaho has also assured to post information assistant at Akuluto as requested by public leaders.
Parliamentary secretary also visited the dilapidated condition of Government High School, Akuluto.
Later, the members at the meeting resolved to hold general Akuluto-VK town area public meeting on October 20, to discuss on the matter relating to upgradation of SDO (C) to ADC hq at Akuluto.
