Khelo India Centre Noklak launches free football coaching

The Khelo India Centre (KIC), Noklak, has initiated free football coaching for boys and girls under 14 and under 16 categories at the Noklak Local Ground. The programme, which began on March 20, will continue till April 18.
The coaching is conducted by Khelo India Coach, Louselie Phewhuo, an AFC ‘C’ Licence holder, with the objective of strengthening grassroots football in the district. So far, more than 45 young players have participated in the training sessions.
Officials informed that selected candidates from the programme will be registered with the Khelo India Academy, Noklak, thereby providing them an opportunity to pursue structured training and development in the sport.
The initiative is expected to encourage youth participation in football and nurture emerging talent from the district, aligning with the broader vision of the Khelo India Mission to promote sports at the grassroots level.
