
Khezhakeno combine service was held from December 29, 2017 to January 1 at Lepfhe ground Khezhakeno under Phek district under the theme “Uko Sielie Di Chükhe” (Let us rise and build) Neh.2:18, wherein God revealed His wondrous miracle by witnessing the last non-Christian member, Timikha Mowo (ancestral village chieftain) converting to imbibe Christianity and further made known his willingness to be a member of Khezhakeno Baptist Church.
In a press release issued by Khezhakeno combine service convenor press, media & recording, Pfuche Koza believed that God has showered His unfailing blessings of love to transform Khezhakeno village at a right opportune time to become a cent-per-cent Christian village on December 31.
Senior pastor CRC Sodzülhou, Dimapur, Rev. Bulechü Koza called upon all the members to love one another, to learn to forgive and reconcile and goes on to say that having different denominations cannot bring salvation but only by having true relationship, good belief and faith in God.
Pastor CBC 7th mile village Dimapur, Neizo Koza called upon the members and leaders alike to be humble and have compassion for the weak and the poor and also urged not to waste time but decide to follow Jesus Christ.
Pastor HOPFAN Dimapur, Rev. C. Ngolo Koza preached to keep away all the differences and forgive each other amongst the members and the various Churches in Khezhakeno.
Pastor CRC Dimapur town, Dr. Khape Ladu called upon all the Kozabomi people to unite and further urged the leaders to prepare to build and shoulder greater responsibility in the days to come.
Pastor CCRC upper PWD Kohima, David Koza said that to forgive others was one of the greatest relationships in God, in fact, God sent His only son Jesus Christ to forgive, as such “we” must follow or emulate Christ like forgiveness.
Pastor CBC Kohima, Dr. Vetso Koza called upon all to ponder at “What is the purpose of man here on earth, what is the meaning of life here on earth?”. He said that the answer was not wealth, richness, leadership, status or achievements etc but to “fear God and obey His commandments for this is the whole duty of man”. Speaking on theme, he said that like Nehemiah “we” needed to ask for forgiveness for all disobedience to receive His blessings.
The occasion was well attended by over thousand all throughout the service days wherein various churches and denominations attended. Various prominent dignitaries greeted during the occasion while pastor, M. Khupo; Kevechüpe Pfüno; V. Pfükrulhou Koza; N. Neilo Koza; S. Dilo Koza; and D. Kemvü Koza chaired the various service programmes while Pfüchüpe Koza conducted the “Talent Expo”.
Choir competition was also conducted during the programme wherein CRC (U) & KBC (main) choir bagged the first prize; KUDD youth choir bagged second prize; while the third prize was bagged by KWSK choir. The programme was exhorted by principal district and session judge, Khape Koza; deputy commissioner of police Dimapur, Lakha Koza; joint secretary & additional director ATI, Kevekha Kevin Zehol; chief manager ONGC Dehradun, L. Neilo Koza; and president TPO, Timikha Koza.
The programme was organized by the Khezhakeno combine service organizing committee led by its convenor D. Kemvü Koza.
