Khriehu graces 2nd Luyong Tsungremmong Festival

Luyong village, Mokokchung celebrated the second Tsungremmong festival at public ground Luyong on August 2 with parliamentary secretary Youth Resources & Sports, State Lotteries & Music Task Force, Khriehu Liezitsu as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion,  Khriehu said the festival  was a time to celebrate  and make  merry  for  both  the young  and the old, seeking  good  harvest  and  good life. 
 It was believed  that  the  celebration  of festival  will foster the spirit  of  unity and  peace  among  the people  of the state, Khriehu added.
As a mark of his visit the parliamentary secretary also promised to construct sport infrastructure in the village. 
Earlier, pastor of  MBA,  Tajungsang, pronounced invocation, Tsungremmong  message  was delivered by president,  Naga Hoho, Chuba  Ozukum, while  Supongyanger Tzudir, convener  of the organizing committee  delivered  the  vote of  thanks. 
The celebration also witnessed cultural items presentation from Merangkong Students’ Union, Luyong Students’ Union, Mary Mead Govt. Middle School, Luyong Village men and womenfolk.
Host of dignitaries from Tuli ADC Administration, 44 Assam Rifles official and AKM officials attended the programme.
