Kidnapping case:NSCN (I-M) UT clarifies

DIMAPUR, OCT 10 (NPN)

Reacting to the police report regarding the arrest of four individuals in connection with the abduction of four persons, the NSCN (I-M) Union Territory (UT) caretaker CAO office has clarified that two of the four arrested were its regional staff while the other two were civilians.
In a statement, UT secretary Solomon Sumi clarified that two regional staff of Union Territory (UT) were Kavito Yeptho (Tatar) and Saul Chophy (Razou Peyu). However, it stated that Kivipu Zhimo and Bento Shohe were civilians.
UT secretary stated that two regional staff were assigned under the supervision of caretaker CAO UT. However, UT secretary stated that the “unfortunate abduction/kidnapping related matter” was undertaken without the knowledge of caretaker CAO UT and the competent authority.
UT secretary stated that the abduction was “entirely executed on their own personal vested interest”, adding the office of UT took note of their actions “as a great misconduct and misuse of power to malign and tarnish the image of the GPRN.”
It stated that report of the two NSCN members was forwarded to the ministry of kilo affairs for trial and necessary action as per Azha of the Yezhabo.
