Kids cry for peace through songs

Hundreds of innocent kids from different churches today voiced out their cry for peace in the state by conducting a Kids Worship Night under the theme-song ‘Lord make us instruments of your peace’ at Dimapur Ao Baptist Church Duncan, organized by Kid Worship center, Dimapur.
About 400 children from 10 churches of different communities led by caretakers, teachers, and youths who also attended the progamme shouted songs of praise and worship led by 20 member kids of KWC. The programme also witnessed piano recitals, and special presentations and competitions by children from the different churches.
Menuo Keditsu, coordinator (Hon) Haggai Institute and member Generation Ministries of India today taught the children to preserve individual character and cited examples from the bible on Daniel chapter. She exhorted the children to be a man of prayer, preserve faith in the Almighty and present the gospel to the people and thus grow in life to be successful in influencing the society and battle the gun-culture.
Mrs Patricia, teacher, CHSS who chaired the programme said ‘even children are for peace in the form of praise and worship’ and expressed satisfaction over their response despite less publicity given due to shortage of time. ‘The outcome was an encouragement’ for the teachers, she added.
Earlier welcome address was made by Robert Longkumer director, invocation by reverend N Tzudir, special appearance by sisters Melody Imsulong, benediction by Dr Moa Imsong, counselor DABA and theme song as closing ceremony.
The programme was organized by Robert Longkumer, Director, Kids Worship Center, which has been operating since the last two years in the state by grooming children from classes I to VIII.
