KIMS inks MoU with Odisha govt to set up COVID-19 Hospital

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has signed a MoU with the Government of Odisha to set up a COVID-19 Special Hospital to combat the spread of novel coronavirus in the state. The MoU was signed by CEO KIMS, Dr. Bishnu Panigrahi on behalf of KIMS in the presence of founder KIIT & KISS, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, pro-chancellor, KIIT deemed to be University, Dr. Subrat Acharya and other government officials.

This is one-of-its-kind initiative by the government and KIMS to ensure that the people of Odisha get state-of-the-art infrastructure and the services of best doctors to treat and tackle this pandemic. 

Dr. Samanta expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Odisha Shri Naveen Patnaik for choosing KIMS as a partner for this noble endeavour, and giving it the opportunity to serve the people of Odisha in their time of need.
