Kingfisher rescued and released in Puliebadze Sanctuary

DIMAPUR

A common Kingfisher bird spotted at the residence of K. Neibu Sekhose in Kohima was safely handed over to the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
The bird, rescued on July 16 and handed over in healthy condition without injuries on July 17 by Sekhose and family, was later released into the Puliebadze Wildlife Sanctuary.
The release was carried out in the presence of DFO Kohima Dr. Sevono Seletsu, RFO Kohima Medolezo Kire, and department staff.
