DC Kiphire, M. Shayung Phom has stated that, as per the government’s directive, Kiphire district administration is organizing a mass social work on May 4, starting 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. All HoDs have been asked to organize cleanliness drives within their respective office premises.
According to DIPR, HoDs have also been asked to take proper attendance of staff during the work and send attendance lists to the DC’s office without fail.
Further, they have also been urged to nominate three employees from each department to engage in clearing of the Kiphire Town dumping site on May 4. The individuals nominated have to report to the DC’s office at 7 am on May 4, to avail to-and-fro transportation.
The public have also been urged prioritize drain unclogging and collecting and disposing plastic wastes.
