Apeaking at the program, Shayung asked the youth to become self reliant and he discouraged them against hunting only for government jobs, and display professionalism in whatever field they train in. ADC Kiphire, Reny Wilfred, in his speech, said that a Skill Development Centre being inaugurated in Kiphire is also one of the biggest developmental achievements. Encouraging the candidates, the ADC said “tell your families that you can shoulder responsibilities after learning from this training”.
Major Vikas Giri from the 7th Assam Rifles, who also spoke in the program, expressed optimism that this three month training will change the candidates’ lives positively. He also advised the trainees to be regular in class.
