Kiumukam demands clarification

The president of the Government Democratic Republic of Nagaland (GDRN) Naga National Council (NNC) Non- Accordist (NA), M. KiumukamYimchungru, has  strongly  criticized  the  baseless allegation leveled upon him by  the  NNC parent body  UT-1, which was  published on  May 31.
Kiumukam, demanded the NNC parent body UT-1, to furnish the detail of when the Yimchungru region had expelled him as alleged by the H. Sumi of  V. Nagi group.
GDRN, NNC- NA has completely dismissed the statement given by some unscrupulous element, which holds no iota of truth to the Naga people. GDRN, NNC- NA  has further appealed  the  Nagas  to ponder over the  activities of  V. Nagi group who  had always played  dirty games  with “ism and tribalism” among the Naga  society and  should  be condemned  by all right thinking citizen in order to bring positive  changes among the various section of the society.
Kiumukam further reiterated  that, his government always stood and strived for the cause of the Naga sovereignty and called upon the Nagas to maintain “peace and unity” so as to create a congenial peaceful atmosphere amongst the people and society at large.
Kiumukam further urged upon the Nagas to cooperate and work with their government for the betterment of every developmental aspect. The GDRN, NNC- NA has asked the NNC Nagi group  to  come out  with positive  attitude for the common good of the Naga people instead of “blaming and igniting” such unwanted activities among the  Naga brethrens which created further disunity among the peoples and society.
