In a statement, KKYO president, Melvin Solo and general secretary, Medo Linyu described the act as deeply disturbing and unacceptable in a democratic society. It termed the threat as a criminal assault on the fundamental rights to safety, dignity and freedom of expression. “Death threats are cowardly attempts to silence voices of truth and justice,” the organization stated, while affirming its full support and solidarity with Prof. Dzuvichu.
