KLC conducts citizen rights & duties awareness campaign at KBC Kohima

Awareness campaign on citizen rights and duties was conducted at Khiamniungan Baptist Church, Kohima by the Kohima Law College students led by professor-in-charge, Kezhokhoto Savi on July 15.
The programme led by youth director of Khiamniungan Baptist Church, youth department dwelt on various topics by V. Kalito Sumi, Jendemo L. Tsanglao, Aleno Sale, Moamongla, Nchumthung J. Murry, Vikhono Kiso, Nokrentemjen Kichu & Petesinuo Perheilie.
Professor-in-charge Kezhokhoto Savi said that the National Food Security Act was to provide for food and nutritional security in human life cycle approach, by ensuring access to adequate of quality food at affordable prices to people to live a life with dignity. Savi requested the Khiamniungan Students’ Union Kohima to take further initiative to find out whether their community back were getting their due shares.
The programme also focused on duties of consumers, clean election for choosing a good leader and the need for change by casting vote fairly.
