Kma-Botsa stretch closure on July 26

DIMAPUR, JUL 25 (NPN): District Magistrate Kohima B. Henok Buchem has informed that the Kohima–Botsa stretch of National Highway-2 near Seven Sisters Hotel, Chiechama, will remain closed on July 26 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate road restoration works.
The closure will affect the road at Chainage No. 33+300 km and has been imposed to ensure public safety and smooth execution of the restoration work. Movement of heavy vehicles will remain suspended during the period.
Light motor vehicles travelling from Kohima to Tseminyu and Wokha will be diverted via Chiechama and Botsa, while those coming from Wokha and Tseminyu to Kohima will be rerouted via Botsa, Teichuma and Zhadima.
