Kma police issue traffic advisory

Entry of heavy goods vehicles (trucks/dumpers) into Kohima town has been strictly prohibited from 6am till 7pm with immediate effect.
In an order, the deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima Shanavas C informed that the restriction was being imposed in view of the heavy traffic congestion in and around Kohima town, especially during peak traffic hours. The order further stated that all permits issued to private and government vehicles (trucks/dumpers) from the office of DC Kohima has also been partially modified and would henceforth adhere to the aforementioned timings.
