KMC directs trade licence renewal by April 30

DIMAPUR:

Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all business establishments and institutions within its jurisdiction to renew their trade licences for the year 2026–2027 on or before April 30, 2026.
In a notification, KMC Chief Executive Officer, Zapuno Sophie, warned that defaulters would be imposed a penalty of Rs. 2000 along with other applicable late fines.
The notice further informed that copies had been circulated to the chairperson, deputy chairperson, all councillors of KMC, the president of Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), and relevant officials for necessary action.
