KMC informs shopkeepers

Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed all the business establishments/shopkeepers within its jurisdiction to whitewash/clean the front face of their shops on or before August 13.

KMC administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer in a notice said this notice was in pursuance of the order from home department in view of the forthcoming Independence Day.
Panchayat chairmen to submit details of children affected by COVID-19
KMC administrator T Lanusenla Longkumer has informed all panchayat chairmen under its jurisdiction to submit details of children affected by COVID-19.
As directed by National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) details of children who are orphaned or have lost either of their parents due to COVID-19 may be submitted to KMC office on or before August 25 during office hours which would be submitted to the government subsequently, the administrator informed.
Details including name, birth certificate, gender, father’s/mother’s names, death certificate of parents (death due to COVID-19).
