Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has notified all the responsible that there would be strict ban on sale of tobacco products during the Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage village, Kisama.
In a notice, KMC administrator, Kovi Meyase, stated that there should be effective implementation of Section 4 of COTPA 2003 –prohibition of smoking in public places.
Kohima Municipal Council cautioned that any person violating the order would be liable to be punished as per the law.
